Testimonials: Water to the Moon training course

Water to the Moon mobility for youth workers was a journey into our responses to conflict – an exploration of how we face challenges and what alternative paths we can take with more curiosity and less fear. Through embodiment and storytelling (including the Human library methodology), participants engaged both their bodies and narratives to discover new ways of navigating conflicts. A key aspect was the follow-up actions, where participants implemented their learning within a month after the project.

We would like to share some testimonials by the participants representing Bulgaria and Zarika.

Water to the Moon has been an incredibly transformative course for me as a community facilitator. I have taken valuable activities and tools and am now using them in my community to develop more understanding and compassion towards conflict.” – Alice

Water To The Moon began with what seemed impossible: to transform conflict, and it ended with a field of possibilities. I’m already sharing the work we created with many people. I always say to them: pass it on; it makes a difference. And I truly believe this. The work we did on this project has had a profound impact on me personally and continues to impact clients and others I work with.” – Jessica

Their follow-up actions included workshops called “Dance of Conflict”, “Human Library”, and “Transforming conflicts” with various diverse target groups, offline and online.

This project was implemented by our partner organization YOUnique and was supported by the European Union and the Erasmus+ programme.
